Practice Test

Here’s what everyone wants to know when they step into professional certification: How well do I already know and practice the knowledge and skills that are included in the CCOM™ test? Is there a way to take some practice swings at the CCOM™ test before I complete the application or after I apply and have scheduled my test appointment at one of the test centers near me? Is there a way to just check this out and do it on my own computer whenever I want to?

One great way to familiarize yourself with the types of questions you'll see on the certification test is by taking a practice version. Available right here, through the Certification Commission website, you can register to take the practice test and pay the practice test fee ($25 for USCC members and $45 for non-USCC members). As we expand to more than one practice test—to give you the opportunity to try out multiple versions of the test, we’ll post that information here. This is totally about helping you succeed at achieving your CCOM™ credential. The practice test is just on of many ways we do that.

The mission of the USCC Certification Commission is to develop and administer national, valid, credible, vendor-neutral certification programs for organics recycling professionals which enhance the profession of organics recycling facility management and in turn benefit the community business and environmental outcomes. The initial development of the CCOM™ was by the Composting Council Research and Education Foundation thanks to a grant from the 11th Hour Project.
